RIVERHEAD ANNOUNCES DATE CHANGE FOR SUPER PRO TRUCKS MAY 24TH

    Barbara and Jim Cromarty announced late this week that the Super Pro Truck event set for Sunday May 25th has now been moved-up to Saturday evening May 24th as part of the annual Memorial Day weekend doubleheader at the quarter mile oval.

    The Super Pro Trucks will now join the NASCAR Modifieds, Late Models, Chargers and Blunderbusts on the Saturday evening May 24th card for the Whelen All-American Series. A Full Size School Bus Figure 8 Race and a 4-Cylinder Demolition Derby will also be on the card that finds feature events starting at 5:00 pm and qualifying at 4:00 pm.

    Sunday May 25th it will be the Legend Race Cars set for their second matinee race of 2008 as part of another action packed Enduro race program. The Grand Enduros will be joined by the 8-Cylinder, 4/6-Cylinder Truck, 6-Cylinder and 4-Cylinder Enduros with One-On-One Spectator Drags on the slate as well. The Sunday show will start at 12:30 pm and carry a rain date of Monday May 26th.
