Riverhead Raceway owners Barbara & Jim Cromarty announced this week that the annual Motorcycle Expo set for Sunday September 7th at Riverhead Raceway will team-up with North Shore Animal League America in 2008. The extremely popular Motorcycle Expo draws thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts from across the tri-state area and is held in the paved Riverhead pit area.
One should not be surprised to see Barbara & Jim Cromarty, life long animal lovers and strong supporters of animal rights and rescue, team up with North Shore Animal League America for the daylong event. North Shore Animal League America is a Port Washington, L.I. based non-for profit agency that rescues animals and then offers them for adoption and has been a fixture on Long Island for many years. The North Shore Animal League America mobile adoption unit was recently at Riverhead Raceway on July 5th where several successful adoptions took place.
As for the Motorcycle Expo at Riverhead Raceway the event has become the largest single day motorcycle expo on Long Island, with between 3,500 to 5,000 riders expected to turn out for a day of fun, food and music. Many vendors will line the paved pit area of Riverhead Raceway to display their wares to the thousands of attendees and vendor space is still available. For further information on vending opportunities, interested parties are urged to call either Bob Finan or Deborah Cromarty at 631-842-RACE, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. You can also e-mail your request for vending information to info@riverheadraceway.com.
Make your plans now to attend the Motorcycle Expo at Riverhead Raceway Sunday September 7th at 10:00 am.
