CRATE MODIFIEDS HEADLINE RIVERHEAD RACEWAY GRADUATION NIGHT PROGRAM SATURDAY NIGHT

The end of the school year has arrived for Long Island students and with that in mind Riverhead Raceway will help celebrate Saturday with Graduation Night for the NASCAR Local Racing Series powered by O'Reilly Auto Parts. Eight feature events are planned with the Eagle Chevrolet Crate Modifieds leading the way for the NASCAR classes, while the Legend Race Cars compete in a 20-lap main event, just one of four INEX features on the card.
Heading to Saturday's Eagle Chevrolet Crate Modified event things are as tight as possible in the chase for the 2026 championship with AJ DeSantis of Yaphank. Michael Berner of Patchogue and Richie Davidowitz of East Moriches tied for the top spot with 96-points each. DeSantis and Berner have scored wins to date while Davidowitz seeks his first Crate win of 2026 Saturday. Defending champion Eric Hersey of Commack is fourth, 12-point back of the trio while Andrew Farnham of Baldwin sits fifth, 14-markers back.
The Super Pro Trucks chase for the 2026 title is close also heading to their 20-lap feature event Saturday as Charles Sudano of Merrick and Erin Solomito of East Quogue tied at 94-points each. Erin's brother Frank Dumicich Jr. of East Quogue is just four back in third while Mark Stewart of Riverhead ranks fourth, -6 with upstart Rich Bruce of Southold sits fifth -8 back. Opening night winner Sudano and most recent winner Stewart have registered wins heading to the third race of the season Saturday.
Red hot Riely O'Keefe of Manorville, winner of three out of the four INEX Legend Race Car events to date takes a 24-point lead over Anthony Marsh of Riverhead into the fifth race of 2026 this week. O'Keefe's car owner Jim Sylvester of Massapequa sits third in the standings 30 point behind his driver while pleasant surprise Jayden Glennerster of Riverhead and most recent winner Richie Davidowitz sit fourth and fifth, -52 and -58 respectfully. Davidowitz recorded his 30th career win in the most recent INEX Legend Race Car event remaining the all-time leading winner of the division.
Three INEX Bandolero classes return to action for their first races since the May Meltdown in May thanks to bad weather. Tyler Oxee of Carmel won the opening day Outlaw feature and will be looking for a repeat Saturday as will Bandolero Bandit opening day winner Landon Solomito of Littler Compton, RI. The Outlaws and Bandits will go to post in 15-lap main events while the Bandolero Beginners run a 10lap event where Scarlett Dumicich of East Quogue hopes to go back-to-back.
Like the INEX Bandoleros, the 4/6-Cylinder Enduro teams have been victims of wet weather and look forward to their second race of the season Saturday. Mike Mujsce Jr. of Hampton Baus will not only be seeking a repeat win in that event, but the second-generation talent hopes to win his second straight feature in the new 4/6-Cyinder Figure Eight class that debuted June 6th.
On track action will start at 5:50 PM Saturday with heat races for the INEX Legend Race Cars, Super Pro Trucks and Crate Modifieds. Opening ceremonies are scheduled for 6:30 PM followed by the JuiceBox Racers one-lap race immediately following. General admission windows open at 5:00 PM, adults are $30, kids 6-12 $20, 5 & under are free.
